Ministry:

Alison was born and raised in Ontario, Canada but has called New Zealand home since 2006. After completing a Performing Arts Christian discipleship program in 2005 in Hawaii, she moved to New Zealand in 2006 and served in the little town of Oxford in Christian young adults ministry for 4 years. In 2008 and 2009, Alison directed a Ski + Snowboard Christian discipleship program. In 2010, Alison moved up to the North Island to joined a prayer room ministry with other young adults, focusing on full-time intercession, prayer and worship ministry. Currently, she is continuing with ministering in both of these streams of preaching the Gospel and ministering to the Lord in prayer and worship. Stay tuned for some exciting new developments in this area of Alison’s life into 2012 and beyond!

Driving Desire:

Alison’s driving desire in life is to experiencing intimate communion with Christ, encountering Him face to face. Alison is committed to calling this next generation into life-transforming intimacy with Christ through the cross, radical submission to His leadership, and full throttle trust in His character. The result? Wholehearted, mature lovers of Christ who experience such fulfilling freedom, hope and joy in Him that life-long devotion to Christ is the only desired option for their lives! From this place of genuine intimacy, these fiery young people will partner with Christ as He desires to move powerfully through them all across the earth!

Personality:

Alison has a background in graphic design and fine art, and is very passionate about all things creative. She loves to paint, sing, play guitar, write poetry, decorate homes, snowboard, travel to historical locations of the Bible, and explore the planet! Alison is a unique mix of both “serious and silly” and “deep and dorky”, as she takes the deep things of life very seriously but you’ll also find her laughing with delight every day.
