Life Vision

“O that Thou wouldst draw me away, then shall I run after Thee. Be Ye unveiled in all Thy glory, that I mayest see face to face. This one thing I desireth, this one thing shall I seek, to lock mine eyes with Thine, ne’er to avert my gaze, and if Thou shouldst look away, I die.” (Alison Lam)

Simply put, my life vision is to:

“Stare at God and never look away.”

“Look and Live. Whoever looks, lives.”

I will tell you who I am by what I am spending my life on:

  • Communion with Christ
  • Face to face adoration
  • The restoration of beauty
  • Displaying tangible hope and joy
  • Living the Sermon on the Mount lifestyle
  • Generous life
  • Soft heart
  • The Baptism of the Holy Spirit
  • The spoken word delivered in purity and power
  • Upholding the holiness of marriage
  • Fruitfulness and multiplication

  • COMMUNION WITH CHRIST – To experience complete communion with Christ in His death and His resurrection life. (Gal 2:20. Phil 3:7-11)
  • FACE TO FACE ADORATION – To seek after wholehearted, devoted adoration of the unveiled Face of Christ (Read Spurgeon’s sermon – The Beatific Vision) (Psa 27:4. Psa 27:8. 1 Cor 13:12. 1 John 3:2-3.  2 Cor 3:18. Isa 33:17. Job 19:25-27.)
  • THE RESTORATION OF BEAUTY – To make a prophetic declaration of “The Desert Garden” that beautifully thrives in the middle of the wilderness, committing to the transformation of rejected, broken hearts into restored, beautiful, tender hearts that declare the dignity of being the Beloved of God (Isaiah 51:3. Jer 31:12-14)
  • DISPLAYING TANGIBLE HOPE + JOY – To BE an impartation of the tangible hope and joy in Christ for all to experience, seeing the miracle of tears becoming songs of joy. (Eph 1:18. Rom 15:13. Psa 126:5)
  • LIVING THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT LIFESTYLE – To live a simple, fasted lifestyle, embracing the core values of Christ’s heart and His kingdom, as the foundation of my daily life. Walking counter-culturally, rejecting the culture and system of the world and the spirit of this age, choosing to live the Beatitudes as my only culture and system for life on earth, by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit. (Matt 5-7)
  • GENEROUS LIFE – Giving generously and abundantly of my heart, my energy, my resources and my time, for the sake of God and others, because God is not stingy and I am His child. (Psalm 37:21. Psalm 37:25-26 Deut 15:7-11. 2 Cor 9:6)
  • SOFT HEART - To have a soft heart to God and others, a tender heart no matter what happens, a heart that is responsive and sensitive to God’s voice. To look at the heart, and not at the outward appearance or giftings or talents of man. (1 Sam 16:7. Ezekiel 11:19.)
  • THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT – To be filled to overflowing with the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in my inner being, convinced that it is IMPOSSIBLE to live the Christian life unless you abide in Him, be filled with His power and let Him lead your life. (Acts 1:8, Zech 4:6, John 15:5)
  • THE SPOKEN WORD DELIVERED IN PURITY + POWER – To wield the sharpened sword of the Lord on my tongue and to have His word and His heart so burning on the inside of me that it must come out!  To have my tongue refined through the fire of the Cross of Christ, so as to minister in purity and in the power of the Holy Spirit. (Isa 49:2. Jer 20:9b. Acts 1:8. Acts 4:31. 2 Cor 12:9-10. Eph 4:29. Prov 15:4)
  • UPHOLDING THE HOLINESS OF MARRIAGE – To commit to the holy preparation and purification of the Bride for the Bridegroom in the coming Wedding and Holy Marriage of the Lamb who is the Rider called Faithful and True. (Rev 19:7-9. Rev 19:11-16. 1 John 3:3)
  • FRUITFULNESS + MULTIPLICATION – To do my part in the multiplication of Christ’s inheritance by raising up the next generation, calling them into wholehearted devotion to Christ and nourish them with Living Water and Bread from Heaven so that they will be fruitful and multiply. (Psa 78:1-6.  John 7:38. John 6:32. Rev 7:17)
