[Video Cafe] Spring Has Sprung + Other News!

In This 2-Part Episode:  News for 6th September 2011. Moved to a new house, Upcoming International Trip!, Divine ordering of my life, Springtime in New Zealand, Song of Songs and the delight of God, new freedom to sing, and ending with a silly song about trees (that you do NOT want to miss!)

NOTE: At the 4-minute mark of the 1st video, the video freezes but the audio continues to the end. So, I recorded part 2, which is Take 2 of the part of the 1st video that froze, so I’m sorry to all of you who don’t want to hear me repeat a few little tidbits of news! But it’s worth it! I add a few little extras in the 2nd video AND I slightly alter the silly song at the end!

Alison’s Amusing Intro to Video Cafe

What is Video Cafe?

Alison on her own is bland, but Alison + Coffee, and now we’re talking about a victorious combination! What is Video Cafe? These are my short, to-the-point, creative video updates, where I share life news, wisdom to make you wiser, and probably some other entertaining things to keep you glued, all while you enjoy sipping on a cuppa coffee or tea while you watch each “episode”. And if you don’t come out of them wiser, you’ll at least be slightly amused (I hope!).

Uh Yup, I should tell you the main problem!

There is substantial evidence below proving why I’m NOT a TV News Reporter. I must add to my To-Do list: “Take professional video-seriousness lessons.” I’m just too silly in front of a video camera. Something comes over me. So, this could be a problem! A “serious” problem!

Take 1: In this take, somehow I promise both “silly antics” and “newsworthy updates”. Uh ya…

A few hours later, I attempt another introduction.

Take 2: This time I challenge myself to “remain serious” and “informative” and “professional” and “wholesome, of course”. And then I top it off by promising “entertainment” and “one line songs” for all of you. This is getting out of hand (and I haven’t even officially started these updates!)

Final Prognosis?

Well, if you’re currently smiling (or inwardly amused), even if you aren’t any wiser or more informed, then maybe these video introductions have been a raving success. Only time will tell the final fate of these audiovisual delights
